The course is fully online and consists of six modules. Each module contains approximately 2 hours of lecture content. Modules are released monthly between March and May and include a combination of video lectures and demonstrations. 

Upon successful completion, you will earn ……. Continuing Education Unit (CEU).

  • All course content is completely free. You can watch every lecture, access all materials, and complete each module without paying anything.
  • You only pay if you want a verifiable certificate. A certificate issued through one of our accredited partner universities is available for a fee ($149) and can be used for professional development or employer verification.  The certificate for this course is provided by Virscend University, California, USA.
  • Learn at your own pace. The program is 100% online and self-paced—access it anytime.

This program is designed to help professionals, students and lifelong learners understand and apply Event Management in practical, everyday contexts – both in the workplace and beyond.

This globally accessible, fully online course introduces learners from all backgrounds to the dynamic field of event management, with a focus on theory and real-world examples. After completing all modules, you will gain foundational understanding, hands-on experience, and strategic insight into event management. No technical experience is required. 

You must be at least 18 years old to participate in this course.

About the Content Creator 

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ozen Kirant Yozcu

Dr. Özen Kirant Yozcu worked in different managerial positions in the sales and marketing department including MICE in the tourism and hospitality industry between 1994- 2003. She has been an Associate Professor since 2023. Dr. Yozcu worked at Bogazici University Tourism Administration Department between 2007-2023 as a professor. She has been living in Porto since 2018 and is an adjunct professor at ISAG- European Business School and Research Centre in Business Sciences and Tourism (CICET – FCVC). Her research interests include hotel management, marketing and marketing communication management, luxury management and event management. She also consults and is involved in many local and international corporate projects. She worked at Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC) for the preparation of MICE Training Materials Project, and she is now GSTC Global MICE Trainer. Besides, she has many studies about sustainable/ green event management and gives seminars about these topics.

Established with the objective of bringing together Turkish professionals operating in the international event industry and strengthening Türkiye’s global visibility in this domain, the ‘International events association of Türkiye’ (TUED) is taking another significant step in line with its founding vision. TUED aims to enhance the sector’s intellectual capital, raise professional standards, and position Türkiye as a regional center for event management.

In accordance with this vision, TUED has founded TUED Academy to expand global partnerships and to contribute to the development of a highly qualified human resource base for the industry. Program Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of the certification program, participants will be able to:

Course Requirements

To successfully complete Event Management course, participants must view all module lectures and demonstrations, complete all quizzes with a score of 80% after each module. Participants must complete all modules with a minimum score of 80% to be eligible for the Advanced Certificate.

  • 3 and 4 Modules will be uploaded to the system last week of April
  • 5 and 6 Modules will be uploaded to the system last week of May.
